Office for Economic Affairs (WiRef)

Responsibilites

The WiRef (short for WiRef) is responsible for the finances of the ÖH USTP. The WiRef fulfils its duties in accordance with the HSG, the HS-WV, as well as the statute of the ÖH USTP. In simplified terms, the WiRef reviews every booking and every receipt. Legal transactions are therefore concluded by the ÖH USTP in accordance with the four-eyes principle.

The most important documents of the WiRef, the JVA and the JAB, are published on our website under Statute & Co. The Annual Estimate (short: JVA) constitutes the budget plan for the respective financial year. Pursuant to the HSG, the Annual Accounts (short: JAB) also include an audit report by a certified auditor and confirm the lawfulness and correctness of the completed financial year.

The WiRef is therefore, together with the chairpersons of the University of Applied Sciences Student Representation, the chairpersons of the Study Representations, and the offices, responsible for processing your projects, social concerns, and other financial matters.
