As the Students’ Union, we stand up for students at the UAS – we play an active role in campus life and are constantly working to improve everyday student life here in St. Pölten.

The Students’ Union …

What do I pay the Students' Union's fee for?

70 cents of the fee go towards the Students’ Union insurance. This provides students with accident and liability insurance for activities during their studies (commuting to and from the UAS, teaching at the UAS, project work outside the UAS). For more information on insurance, please contact our Social Policy Division.

95% of the ÖH contribution paid goes back to the local ÖH at the universities and benefits the students through various measures. These include, among others

  • the social fund
  • support for the canteen
  • support for the FH sports club
  • the organization of
  • events or
  • the support of student projects
  • but also much more
